Do you ever communicate with nature?

Updated: Apr 24, 2022

Last week, I went to Boulder, CO. I had a retreat to attend in Aurora so I decided to go a day in advance as I have heard beautiful things about the energy and I was very much called to spend a day there to feel its energy.

I hiked to the smaller Red Rocks. I walked from my hotel to the top of the rocks very mindfully and slowly. I passed by a small and still river which was surrounded by some old trees. I had to stop there to feel its energy. I closed my eyes and I put myself in a meditative state as I wanted to communicate with the trees, rocks, river and everything else who wanted to communicate back with me.

I, first, communicated with the oldest tree there. It had some impressive things to share with me. It communicated wisdom and continued sharing that we, collectively, need to learn from our past and observe without analyzing. We are asked to observe, just like it has been doing for decades through the changes that have been going on where it is located. If it resisted, it would not have made it this far. It has been observing by being one with the situation and by also looking at it from a distance without analyzing.

The second tree taught me stillness and the process of "trust" and to listen to the "knowingness" that we all have within us. I was called to hug this tree and stay there hugging it for a while. Stillness was actually being present and being still just like it has been doing for so many years through the good and the bad and everything in between was a gift we could benefit from.

I invite you to be still for a couple of minutes, connecting to this beautiful tree. It really is not that hard, you just need to trust that it is possible.

Finally, this beautiful tree was on the Red Rocks and has the color red all over and around it. The first thing I received was that it is "exposed" and how it is okay with it. Exposed meant vulnerable, open, honest and present, yet not worried about being liked or being judged. All seemed okay for this wonderful tree that appreciated being different all the while being connected. It really was an experience for me to see that it is okay to be exactly who we are and do what we are meant to do and shine our lights without worrying about what others think of us. When you shine like that, you inspire others to shine as well which gives others permission to shine by example. It is bigger than you think it is.

Finally, I was so happy, peaceful and in a state of love and appreciation that I was shown hearts everywhere. Here are two of them for you to enjoy and look back at when you feel you need to be reminded how much you are loved by the Divine, nature, living things and others so you turn this love back to yourself as you deserve it and it is your birthright. Once you do that, you will spread it to everyone else around you and that is how we HEAL the world!

Let's spread love! Let's realize the power of our own love! We are so much more powerful than we imagine and love is our fuel. Thank you for reading.
