What Is ThetaHealing® — And Can It Really Change Your Life?

The short answer


ThetaHealing® is a meditation-based healing technique that works by identifying and changing the subconscious beliefs that quietly shape every aspect of your life, such as your relationships, your health, your finances, and your sense of self-worth. It was developed by Vianna Stibal in 1995 and is now practiced by certified practitioners around the world.


The name comes from the theta brainwave state, which is the slow, deeply relaxed brain frequency you experience just before sleep or in deep meditation. In that state, the subconscious mind becomes more accessible. And that is where the real work happens.


Why the subconscious mind matters so much


Research in neuroscience suggests that a significant portion of our daily behavior is driven by subconscious programming as patterns and beliefs formed in childhood, inherited from our families, or absorbed from the culture around us. Most of us are not even aware these beliefs exist. We simply notice their effects; the same relationship patterns repeating, the same ceiling on our income, the same anxiety that no amount of positive thinking seems to shift.


ThetaHealing® works precisely because it goes to the source. Rather than trying to manage symptoms at the conscious level, it asks “What is the underlying belief of this situation? and only with your full awareness and consent we replace that belief with something that actually serves you.


What happens in a ThetaHealing® session?


Sessions are conversational and interactive. Here is what the process looks like when you work with me:


First, we talk about the pattern, emotion or the situation you would like to work on and write a clear intention together.

Then, through a gentle path, we get to the theta brainwaves where we start exploring the beliefs connected to your intention by going deeper to the underlying belief.

With your permission, I access the theta brainwave state and connect to the Creator of All That Is, the universal energy field, to witness the healing and transformation of the identified belief.

We verify the change together. You will often feel a shift immediately: a lightness, a sense of release, sometimes even a physical sensation.


My sessions run approximately 90 minutes. I never end a session because the clock says so — we continue until both of us are satisfied with the results. Every session is different, because every person is different.

Yes, and this is one of the most common questions I receive. Most of my sessions are conducted online, serving clients across Europe, the Americas, and beyond. The theta state and the energy work it enables are not limited by physical distance. All energy work is done on the quantum level where there is no time and space anyway. Many clients are genuinely surprised by how present and connected the experience feels, even through a screen.
